Automations
The Automations page allows you to create and manage automated campaigns that utilize Email or SMS delivery to engage with guests based on their visit frequency.

Create Automation

Access the Campaign Manager
Login to Admin Panel and navigate to the Campaign Manager > Automations page. -
Click "New Automation"
Press the New Automation button to begin setting up a new campaign. - Select the Target User Group
Choose the user group to receive the campaign, such as Email Users, Facebook Users, or Mobile Users.
Note: This will only include users who have opted in by selecting the "Allow Marketing" checkbox, provided the Marketing Consent feature is enabled. - Define Trigger Criteria
Specify the conditions that will trigger the campaign, such as the number of visits.
Visit Count 1: Sends the Email/SMS on the user's first login.
Visit Count 2: Sends the message on their second login (returning user), and so on... - Set the Campaign Availability
Define the date range during which the campaign will be active:
Ongoing campaigns: Set a wide range (eg. 10 years).
Limited-time promotions: Specify the start and end dates accordingly. - Schedule the Message Delivery
Choose when the message will be sent after the trigger condition is met.
Eg. You can configure it to send the message immediately, 2 hours after login or 3 days after the user leaves your property.
Customize Email Content
This feature allows you to create and manage personalized email messages tailored to specific user groups. With tools to customize the subject line, body text, and visuals, you can ensure impactful and engaging communication with your audience.

Optionally, upload an image or promotional banner to make your message more engaging.

Use the built-in HTML Editor to include rich content such as images, videos, iframes, or other external elements. This enables you to craft visually compelling emails that capture your audience’s attention and deliver your message effectively.
Template Personalization

Further customize the email template, including text color, titles, background and more in the Captive Portal > Theme Editor > Emails tab.
Customize SMS
This feature allows you to create and manage targeted text messages for specific user groups. By customizing the message content, you can deliver concise and impactful communication directly to your audience's mobile devices.

Craft Concise Messages
Use clear and impactful language to communicate essential details effectively within the character limit. -
Add Personalization
Make the message feel tailored by including specific details, such as their visit history. -
Include Links
Direct recipients to relevant pages, promotions, or offers using shortened URLs to save space and enhance engagement.
Removing a Campaign

Locate the Campaign
Login to Admin Panel and go to Campaign > Automations page and identify the campaign you wish to delete. -
Delete the Campaign
Click the trash icon in the Actions column next to the campaign. Confirm the deletion when prompted
Note: Deleting a campaign will remove it permanently and stop any scheduled actions associated with it.
Editing a Campaign

Locate the Campaign
Login to Admin Panel and go to Campaign > Automations page and identify the campaign you wish to edit. -
Edit the Campaign
Click the campaign's name. -
Modify Campaign Details
Update the target audience, trigger criteria, schedule, or message content as needed. You can also adjust visuals like banners or HTML content for email campaigns. -
Save Changes
Review your updates and click Save to apply the changes.
Important Notes

Verify that Email SMTP and SMS connectivity settings are correctly configured in the Connectivity Settings page to ensure successful message delivery.
- Review your SMTP and SMS provider sending limits to avoid disruptions.
- The job worker for campaigns runs on a 10-minute schedule, meaning that all automations and bulk campaigns may take up to 10 minutes to process and execute.
