Persistent Login & Auto-Reconnect
The auto-login configuration is divided into two user groups: Users who log in by providing their information via Captive Portal Authentication (Free, Email, Facebook, or Mobile) and Users who log in using predefined voucher credentials, including vouchers generated from Paid Access.
Auto-login for Free, Email, Facebook and Mobile Users
The settings in this section allow administrators to manage login automation for users who provide personal data via the Captive Portal. To configure this, navigate to the Auto-Login tab under Captive Portal > Authentication page.
Within the Auto-Login tab, you’ll find the following options:
-
Remember User Login Data
When enabled, returning guests who previously logged in via Free Access, Email, Facebook, or Mobile authentication can reconnect without re-entering their information. The Captive Portal will still appear, but users will be logged in automatically upon clicking Connect, based on the “Remember from Last Login” period. -
Enable Auto-Login
This option fully bypasses the Captive Portal for recognized users, logging them in automatically without any user interaction.
⚠️ Note: This does not apply to Voucher Login method, which is managed separately (see below).
Remember Login Credentials - Voucher Users
This feature allows Voucher users to reconnect without seeing the Captive Portal again, even after a period of inactivity—improving user experience and reducing repeated logins. To optimize it, configure the Session Settings under Guest Network > Guest Limits.
You can adjust the auto-connect period for Voucher Guests using the Remember Login Credentials (Voucher Guests) slider, which sets the duration during which returning Voucher users can log in without re-entering their credentials.
⚠️ Note: This applies to all Voucher credentials, including those generated through the Voucher Manager app and the Paid Access feature.
