Dashboard Customization

Customizing the Admin Panel theme and Dashboard layout is essential for tailoring your experience to meet specific preferences and workflow needs. Whether it's adjusting color schemes or arranging widgets for optimal visibility, these features empower users to personalize their interface for enhanced efficiency and usability. This guide will walk you through the steps to customize the admin panel theme and dashboard layout effortlessly. Let's explore how you can make the most out of these customization options to streamline your workflow and maximize productivity.


Customize Admin Panel Theme

To modify the color theme or sidebar panel position, navigate to the user icon located on the top right corner. Click on the icon to reveal a submenu, then select "Theme Options" from the menu. Utilize the "Theme Options" popup to apply your preferences.

Customizing Dashboard Layout with Drag-and-Drop Widgets

To open the Dashboard Builder, click on the "Edit" button.
Once activated, you'll notice a "Builder" button appear on the right side of the screen.

Now, you have the freedom to:

  • Rearrange Dashboard Components: Click and drag widgets to move them to your preferred location.
  • Remove Unwanted Components: Hover over the center of a widget and click to delete it entirely.
  • Add New Widgets: Select desired widgets from the Component Tray and drag them onto the dashboard for inclusion.
  • Reset to defaults: Reset the dashboard to defaults by clicking the "Restore Defaults" button within the component tray.

To save your configuration: Click on the "Save" toggle button which is visible on the right side of the Dashboard.

Dashboard Customization & User Permissions

Each admin panel user can have a separate, personalized Dashboard layout tailored to their needs. However, only superusers can modify widgets and layout settings.

  1. To create a new user, go to System > Users & Privileges and add the required credentials.

  2. After creating the user, log in with the new account and configure the Dashboard as needed.
