Maintenance

This page provides administrators with options to keep the device updated, ensure optimal performance, and maintain system stability through scheduled reboots and factory resets.

Features

  • Automatic Firmware Update – Easily upgrade to the latest firmware version for security and performance improvements.
  • Manual Firmware Upload – Allows manual installation of firmware updates.
  • Device Reboot & Factory Reset – Provides options for restarting the device or resetting it to default settings.
  • Scheduled Reboot – Set up automatic reboots for maintenance and stability.

Firmware Updates

Automatically Check for Updates

  1. Navigate to System > Maintenance.
  2. The installed firmware version is displayed. If an update is available, a notification will appear.
  3. Click Update to download and install the latest firmware.

⚠️ Note: The update process may take a few minutes, and the device will be temporarily unreachable.

Do not turn off the device during the update.


Manually Upload Firmware (Optional)

  1. Navigate to System > Maintenance.
  2. Under the Advanced section, click the Firmware File tab.
  3. Select Choose File and upload a .bin firmware file.
  4. Click Upload Manually to start the update.
  5. A progress bar will indicate the update status.
  6. When prompted, click on the "Reboot now" button.

⚠️ Note: The update process may take a few minutes, and the device will be temporarily unreachable.

Do not turn off the device during the update.



Reboot & Factory Reset

Reboot the Device

  1. Navigate to System > Maintenance.
  2. Click Reboot Now to restart the device.
  3. The device will restart and become available after a short period.

Reset to Factory Defaults

  1. Click Reset to Factory to erase all settings and restore defaults.
  2. A confirmation prompt will appear – proceed only if you want to erase all configurations.
  3. The device will reboot and return to factory settings.

This action is irreversible and will delete all configuration. Do not turn off the device during the update.



Scheduled Reboots

Step 1 - Enable Auto-Reboot

  1. Navigate to System > Maintenance.
  2. Select a schedule from the dropdown:
    • Disabled – No automatic reboots.
    • Daily – Reboots every day at a set time.
    • Weekly – Reboots on a specific day of the week.
    • Monthly – Reboots on a chosen date each month.

Step 2 - Configure Reboot Time

  • If Daily Reboot is selected:
    Use the time slider to set the reboot time.

  • If Weekly Reboot is selected:
    Choose a day from Monday to Sunday.

  • If Monthly Reboot is selected:
    Choose a date (1st–28th of the month).

Step 3 - Save Settings

  1. Click Save to apply the scheduled reboot settings.
  2. The system will schedule the reboot based on your selection.



Important Notes

  • The firmware update may take several minutes. During this time, the device will be temporarily unreachable.
  • A factory reset will erase all configurations. Please back up important settings beforehand.
  • DO NOT turn off or unplug the device during these processes to avoid potential damage.
