Templates

This page allows you to browse and load professionally designed Captive Portal templates provided by the manufacturer to help you build and deploy your portal faster. Templates offer a ready-made design that can be customized further using the visual editor or extended with custom CSS and JavaScript through the Theme Editor.

Choose from a variety of ready-made Captive Portal designs to speed up deployment and deliver a clean, modern login experience to your guests.

Each template provides:

  • A professionally designed layout

  • Optimized structure for common use cases such as hotels, cafes, restaurants, malls, and public venues

  • Compatibility with the built-in Captive Portal editor

After applying a template, you can:

  • Adjust colors, images, and texts using the visual editor

  • Further customize the design using custom CSS and JavaScript via the Theme Editor

Available Templates

Each template card displays:

  • Template name

  • Last updated date and time

  • Preview images and description

  • Apply Theme button

Applying a Template

To apply a template:

  1. Login to Admin Panel and go to Captive Portal > Templates

  2. Click Connect and Load Templates

  3. Browse the available templates and preview images

  4. Click Apply Theme on the desired template

  5. Confirm the action when prompted

Once applied, the template becomes the active Captive Portal design and can be further customized.

Notes and Best Practices

  • Applying a template replaces the current Captive Portal design

  • Existing portal content and settings should be reviewed after applying a new template

  • Custom CSS or JavaScript added via the Theme Editor remains editable after template application

  • An active Internet connection is required to load templates from the external service

  • Templates may include placeholder texts for Terms, Privacy, and consent notices that must be reviewed and adapted

Legal and Compliance Notice

Captive Portal templates are provided for design and layout purposes only.

The network operator is solely responsible for:

  • Defining and displaying correct Terms of Service and Privacy Policy texts

  • Ensuring user consent flows comply with applicable laws and regulations

  • Configuring data collection, storage, and retention settings according to local legal requirements

Any personal data collected through the Captive Portal is stored and processed locally on the device, based on the operator’s configuration.

The manufacturer does not determine:

  • What data is collected

  • How long data is retained

  • How consent is obtained or validated

Operators must review and adjust all legal texts and consent options before using a template in a production environment.

Important

  • Template previews and metadata are retrieved from a manufacturer-managed external service.

  • An active Internet connection is required to load the template list, download tempaltes and preview images.

  • No changes are applied automatically.

  • Templates are only applied after you click Apply Theme and confirm. This ensures you can safely preview templates without affecting the active Captive Portal configuration.
