Bulk Messages

The Bulk Message feature allows you to create and manage mass communication campaigns via Email or SMS. This tool enables businesses to send messages efficiently to targeted user groups.

Features

  • Create Bulk Messages: Define and schedule mass campaigns.

  • Target Specific Users: Send messages to Email or SMS user groups.

  • Filter Users: Set start times for message dispatch.

  • Monitor Campaign Status: Track sent, pending, and completed campaigns.

⚠️ Note: Ensure Email and SMS connectivity are set up in Connectivity Settings.

Create a Bulk Message Campaign

Creating a bulk message campaign allows businesses to communicate efficiently with their audience.

  1. Access the Bulk Message Manager
    Log in to the Admin Panel and navigate to Campaign Manager > Bulk Messages.

  2. Click "New Bulk Message"
    Press the New Bulk Message button to start setting up a new campaign.

  3. Define Campaign Settings
    Enter the Campaign Title: Provide a descriptive name for your bulk message.

  4. Select the Delivery Channels:

    • Email

    • SMS

  5. Filter Campaign based on login time

    Define to who to send the bulk message:

    • Send to All users: Will send to all users present in the database.

    • Send to Users logged in withi specific login time: Will send to users that logged in within a specific date range.

Customize Bulk Email Content

This feature allows you to create and personalize mass email messages.

Customize Content

  • Personalize the subject line, body text and footer

  • Enhance with images or promotional banners.

  • Use the built-in HTML Editor for rich content. (eg. Images, videos etc.)

This feature allows you to create and manage SMS messages for targeted user groups.

SMS Customization Tips

  • Keep it Concise: Use clear and impactful messaging.

  • Include Personalization: Reference customer details if available.

  • Add Links: Use shortened URLs for promotional redirections.

Testing a Campaign

Before launching, test the bulk message to ensure proper delivery.

  1. Click Test Email to send a sample email.

  2. Click Test SMS to send a sample SMS.

  3. Verify the message content and formatting.


Launching a Campaign

Deliver your campaign content to all targeted users with these steps:

  1. Locate the desired campaign in the campaign list.

  2. Click "Launch" to initiate the bulk message delivery.

  3. Confirm the action in the pop-up prompt.

  4. The campaign status will update to reflect the sending process.

Deleting a Campaign

  1. Find the campaign to delete.

  2. Click the Delete icon next to the campaign name.

  3. Confirm the deletion action.

Track the progress of bulk message campaigns from the Bulk Messages page.

  • Pending: Messages are queued for sending.

  • In Progress: Messages are being sent to recipients.

  • Completed: All messages have been successfully delivered.

  • Partially Completed: Some messages were not sent due to errors.



Provider Limitations

This campaign tool enables you to send bulk messages directly from your device without any platform fees.

For enhanced functionality, consider:


1. Email Campaigns
Before launching your bulk email campaign, check your SMTP provider's sending limits. Some providers impose daily or hourly email restrictions, which may impact your campaign’s delivery rate.

To prevent disruptions:

  • Review your SMTP provider’s sending policy.
  • Upgrade to a higher-tier plan if needed.
  • Use MailChimp Integration for advanced email capabilities.


2. SMS Campaigns
Ensure your SMS provider account supports your required message volume to avoid delivery failures.
If needed, explore SMSGlobal or Clickatell for scalable bulk SMS solutions.

Important Notes

  • Verify that Email SMTP and SMS connectivity settings are correctly configured in the Connectivity Settings page to ensure successful message delivery.

  • Review your SMTP or/and SMS provider sending limits to avoid disruptions.
  • For emails, use external tools like MailChimp for advanced email management if necessary.
  • The job worker for campaigns runs on a 10-minute schedule, meaning that all automations and bulk campaigns may take up to 10 minutes to process and execute.
