Email Users

The Email Users page provides an overview of authentication records generated by the Email Connect method. It presents time-based visualizations and access statistics to support monitoring and management of email-based network access.

The operator is responsible for enabling Email Connect, determining the lawful basis for processing, configuring optional data fields, and defining data retention and automatic deletion behavior under System > Data Retention, in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy regulations.

Features


1. Counters and Filters

  • Main Title: Displays the "Email Users" heading alongside the total number of Email Users (Total Email Users).

  • Time Filters: A dropdown menu allows filtering Email User data by predefined intervals, such as "All Time," "Last 12 Months," or "Today."

2. Statistics and Visualizations

  • Email User Statistics: Includes counters for "Total," "Returning," and "Failed" Email Users to provide a breakdown of usage trends.

  • Email Users Login Chart: A line graph visualizes time-based login counts for Email Users, highlighting patterns and peaks over time.

3. Table Overview

The Email Users table provides structured information about each user accessing the network via the Email Connect method. Displayed fields depend on the Email Connect configuration and operator-defined settings.

Columns include:

  • Columns include:

    • Extra Fields: Extra Fields: Optional, operator-defined metadata fields associated with Email Connect sessions. These fields are configurable and may be enabled or disabled by the operator.
    • Email Address: The email identifier used for authentication via the Email Connect method.
    • First Login: The timestamp of the user's first login.
    • Last Login: The timestamp of the user's most recent login.
    • MAC Address: The network identifier of the client device recorded during Email Connect session.
    • Visits: The total number of times the user has logged in using Email Connect.
    • Marketing: Indicates if the user has opted into marketing communications.
    • Action: Options to manage or remove specific user records.

4. Search and Filtering Options

  • Search Bar: Quickly find specific login entries by typing keywords.

  • Entries Per Page: Adjust the number of entries displayed in the table (10, 25, 50, or 100).

5. Export and Management

Export Options:

Export Email User data in the following formats:

  • CSV: Export Email User data for further analysis.
  • Print Mode: Generate a printable view of Email User records.

Other Options:

  • Reset Visits: A button to reset the visit count for all Email Users.
  • Delete All:  A button to remove all Email User data, clearing the records.



How to Use

  1. Filter Data: Use the time filters or a custom date range to narrow down the data.
  2. Analyze Visuals: Review the line graph and counters to understand Email Connect user activity and trends.
  3. Search or Filter Table: Utilize the search bar and table filters to locate specific user records.
  4. Export Data: Click on the export button to download data for further analysis or printing.
  5. Manage Records: Use the "Reset Visits" or "Delete All" options to manage Email User data as needed.

The Email Users page provides operators with visibility into Email Connect usage and authentication activity for operational monitoring.
