Cloud Access
Cloud Access allows remote management of WAVER Gateways, granting administrators cloud-based access to the Admin Panel, Voucher Manager, Live Menu, and more. Enabling this feature generates a unique subdomain for accessing the device’s web interface from anywhere. It requires a stable internet connection and typically works behind NAT without port forwarding or advanced configuration.
Understanding the Interface
- Remote Access Management – Enables or disables cloud access to the gateway.
- Service Monitoring – Displays service status in real time.
- Public Cloud URLs - Provides direct access to:
- Admin Panel
- Voucher Manager App
- Captive Portal Preview
- Live Menu App
- Coupon Code Manager
- Unsubscribe URL (Can be used as an unsubscribe link in email footers, allowing users to opt out of marketing communications.)
How to Enable Cloud Access
- Log in to Admin Panel.
- Navigate to the System > Cloud Access page.
- Toggle the Enable Cloud switch to turn cloud access ON/OFF.
- The system will process the request and display the updated service status.
- When enabled, the generated URLs will be displayed.
Troubleshooting
Service Not Running
- Ensure cloud access is enabled.
- Check internet connectivity.
- Verify with your ISP that L2TP with IPsec and OpenVPN protocols are allowed.
- Refresh the page or try again later - If your IP is blocked by the server, it may take up to 24 hours to reset.
Cloud URLs Not Visible
- Verify that cloud access is turned ON.
- Wait for the system to refresh.
- If the issue persists, restart your Main Router and the WAVER Gateway.
Important Notes
- Cloud access requires a stable internet connection.
- Public URLs may be subject to firewall and security settings.
- System refreshes automatically every 7 seconds for real-time updates.
